Don't train before important events Need 36+ hours for changes to stabilize

Milestones & Check-Ins

Key Milestones

Milestone When Purpose
QEEG Review After initial brain map Understand your brain, get protocol plan
End of Intensive ~Session 6 Confirm independence, set training schedule
Remote Refresh 1-2 weeks after intensive Check-in call, troubleshoot issues
End of Month 1 ~Session 13 Review progress, refine goals
First Follow-up QEEG Sessions 15-20 Track brain changes, adjust protocols
Renewal Discussion 2 weeks before end Decide whether to continue

Follow-up QEEGs

QEEG When Purpose
Initial Before training Baseline assessment
Follow-up #1 Session 15-20 (~1 month) Progress check
Follow-up #2 Session 30-40 (~2 months) If continuing training
Annual For long-term clients Maintenance assessment

Typical progress: Up to 1 standard deviation change at 20-session mark!

Program Duration & Renewals

How Long Does Training Take?

Most clients: 2-6 months for long-lasting resource shifts

Breakdown: - Months 1-2: Foundation building, early gains - Months 3-4: Refinement, stability - Months 5-6+: Advanced training, maintenance

Effects are long-lasting after completionβ€”neurofeedback creates trait-level changes, not temporary states.

Renewals

When to renew: - Making progress but not yet at goals - Want to build on early gains - New goals emerged

Renewal lengths: - 1 month - 2 months

Process: Discuss with coach 2 weeks before current program ends

Pause Policy

Standard Policy

Allowed: 1 week pause per 2 months of membership

For longer pauses: - May need to return kit (equipment availability) - Can resume with new kit shipped or pick up at office - All protocols savedβ€”continue where you left off - Allow 2 weeks lead time for kit delivery

Returning After a Break

Don't jump back to advanced protocols even if you were doing them before.

Recommended: 1. Start with previously successful SMR protocol (2x) 2. Re-establish baseline 3. Then return to where you left off

Some clients experience: - Mild vertigo/dizziness after first session back (resolves in hours) - Need to rebuild to previous protocol intensity gradually

Program Completion

Ending Your Program

2 weeks before end, discuss: - Progress toward goals - Whether to renew or complete - Final QEEG recommendation

Final sessions: Continue stable protocol (repeats are fine)

Post-Program Options

Free in-office QEEG: For 1 year after program ends (show brain changes)

Remote QEEG: $250 rental fee, available for 1 year post-program

Unsupervised training: EEGer license only ($1,499/year) - Continue with established protocols - No coaching or protocol recommendations - You manage your own training

Full renewal: Resume coaching with new program

Who Neurofeedback Helps

Common Goals

Neurofeedback training can help with: - Sleep (onset, maintenance, restfulness) - Attention and focus (ADHD, distractibility) - Anxiety and stress (rumination, worry, resilience) - Mood regulation (depression, emotional reactivity) - Energy and mental clarity (brain fog, fatigue) - Peak performance (flow states, cognitive processing) - Trauma processing (PTSD, emotional wounds) - Migraines and headaches - Concussion/TBI recovery

Not a Cure

Neurofeedback is a training method to optimize brain function. It: - Doesn't work for everyone - Requires consistency and time - Works best combined with healthy lifestyle - Is not a substitute for medical treatment

Realistic expectations are key to success.
